Wisecampus.com has a VIP Section in the Reward Catalog

After looking at the rewards catalog at wisecampus.com, I noticed a VIP section in-addition to the 4500 points, 8500 points, and 19000 points categories when comparing the reward catalog to isleptthroughclass.com. I hope they have some great prizes to give out like monthly prizes or most points during the year.

ShareNotes.com Users Fraudulently Acquiring Points

Some users on sharenotes.com have been acquiring points fraudulently and all users could lose the ipod giveaway due to the fraud. The site is asking all users to stop the fraud immediately or the site could possibly run out of money and be abandoned. The site is working on the fraud, probably to find the suspects involved and try to set things straight. The site will change because the fraud has taken a heavy toll on the site. The site is asking anyone to contact site administrators for any information on the fraud.

Founder of Isleptthroughclass.com/Wisecampus.com's Success Story

Ryan Sapp is the founder of islepthroughclass.com and the new site called wisecampus.com. Ryan Sapp is looking for anyone to do a story on the website for publicity. Based on the forum, wisecampus.com has 25,500 colleges students with a possible growth to 18 million college students.

Ryan Sapp's success story started at age 14 with his first business and then started investing in the stock market at age 16 by selling his car. Sapp then used the money from the stock to buy his first house. Currently, Sapp is 22 and the owner of islepthroughclass.com/wisecampus.com and rsapp leasing. Apparently, Ryan Sapp is in the running for Global Student Entrepreneur Award.

What a great success story and a I hope Ryan Sapp's success continues with the site and future endeavors.

One of the Reasons Why Isleptthroughclass.com Is Changing the Site Name

Isleptthroughclass.com is becoming wisecampus.com after the site was disqualified (unfairly) from University of Dayton Business Competition for the "connotation of its name." Isleptthroughclass.com was among 5 finalists for a $15,000 prize when the site was disqualified in January because it conflicted with University of Dayton's values.

StudyBlue.com Study on College Students by SurveyU

StudyBlue.com wanted to conduct a survey in-order to meet the demands of both high school and college students. SurveyU conducted the survey for StudyBlue.com. Study shows that college students are 60% likely to spend 3 or more hours studying online while 26% likely to spend time on social networks like facebook.com and twitter.com. The study also proved that 84% of college students were helped by the Internet and 54% of college students plan to spend more time compared to last year. I would have come to the same conclusion before the survey.

Koofers.com Goes National

Koofers.com is expanding nationally after starting at Virginia Tech and spreading to surrounding colleges. Sign up for great new features like average grade received by students and professor evaulations by students. Other neat features include how many times the professor uses the book, if the professor gives extra credit and other things. Hopefully the site has a reward program in the works.

Isleptthroughclass.com and Wisecampus.com Upgrade Caused Site Downtime

Both isleptthroughclass.com and wisecampus.com were unavailable over the weekend due to upgrades made to both sites. The sites went back up Monday morning, but the sites didn’t have any new features.

Hopefully wisecampus.com will be ready soon, but I was hoping that they announce the new features. Confusion has risen because of the two sites among users.

StudyBlue.com Premium Service

StudyBlue.com recently updated the site with new tools and features plus the addition of a premium service for a fee. Premium service is split into monthly service for 9.99 and annual service for 59.99.

StudyBlue.com users are not going to pay for notes, especially when the similar level of service is free everywhere else. I think that free users are going to change to the other note sharing websites. StudyBlue.com may think they have enough course material for students to pay for, but I think only a small percentage of students will pay for the files. Students are just going to upload there content to other note sharing sites, where they can exchange lectures, exams, outlines, presentations, study guides and other forms of media for free. I have figured out a way to download pages of the files without premium service. More on this later.

A brief summary of the new tools and features is described below:
Premium users can now import flashcard decks using excel file and even merge multiple decks into one deck. Premium users can study with flashcards, quizzes and brain games with a study schedule. Premium users get RSS feeds for updates from StudyBlue.com delivered to user’s inbox. Students can now upload multiple files and even record audio and video notes for review later on StudyBlue.com. Files and flashcards are now downloadable and printable for premium members only. The premium service gives iPhone and iPod Touch users a StudyBlue app, which enables college and high school students to access study materials from StudyBlue.com anywhere you go. While walking to class or riding the bus, one can review notes and breeze through flashcards while the app automatically syncs with your StudyBlue.com account. The app enables downloading and reviewing of notes, images, audio and video files. StudyBlue.com users receive text messages to remind users when to study based on the study schedule.

1st Post - Introduction

Hello and Welcome to the Blog for Making Money with College Notes.

I have started this blog to provide tips and tricks to making the most money out of the notes one takes in college. I’ll provide a list of note sharing websites along with the pros, cons and the amount of money per note on the websites. I’ll also write blog posts on new features and updates to note sharing websites along with promotions and bonus points going on.

I have made over 2300 dollars in cash, awards and prizes over 6 note sharing websites. I want students to take advantage of the immense amount of resources to get good grades in college. I used the multiple opportunities to pay for food since the beginning of 2009 and shopping for gifts.

I encourage people to leave comments/concerns/advice and to know the agreement/disagreement/anger/excitement/etc. about the issues facing both the users and different note sharing websites.
